Role Overview

Edward Snell & Co. are seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused SAP Consultant to join our dynamic IT support team.

 

 

Key Result Areas

  • Subject matter expert and custodian of SAP ECC.
  • Accountable for SAP access control for the business.
  • Accountable for all SAP reporting including sales reporting.
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of companywide budget management and reporting in SAP.
  • Maintaining existing data and changes to Pricing, WSPs, pricing conditions and discounting on the SAP system.
  • Accountable opening and closing of month-end and year-end process as well as the emailing of statements.
  • Accountable for annual audit preparation.
  • Responsible for preparation of financial accounts for audit purposes. May be required to present information to auditors.
  • Manages the EDI process.
  • Accountable for end-to-end materials management process on SAP including the capturing and maintenance of full costing around the Bill of Materials (BOM).

 

 

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant IT/Business Degree.
  • Costing diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Must be SAP certified.
  • SAP ABAP Advantageous.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a SAP consultant is essential.
  • Must be well versed with SAP S4/HANA PCE and AZURE working environments and technical troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S4/HANA and PCA tool.
  • Must have worked on System refresh and AZURE DR setup.
  • Must be able to handle Web-dispatcher, Portal, PO, FIORI, BW, GRC related issues.
  • Knowledge of fine tuning both application and database.
  • S/4 Migration expertise preferred.
  • SAP Archiving skills and experience preferred.
  • Able to perform L2/L3 level troubleshooting.
  • Solution Manager expertise like Charm, SysMon, Job Mon, etc
  • Able to work on Windows, RHEL OS and HANA, MSSQL and MaxDB database as well.
  • A working knowledge and experience in Standard costing as well as Product cost by order (Production order process).
  • Experience in Profit centre accounting and assessment cycles is essential.
  • A working knowledge of Cost Centre accounting and assessment.

  • Strong commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
