Juliette Bourne Appointed As Head of Human Resources

Effective 1 March 2024, Juliette Bourne has been appointed Head of Human Resources at Edward Snell & Co.  She joined the company in February 2023 as interim Human Resource Manager and has subsequently re-organized the function to deliver against a best practice strategic people agenda.  Her decades-long HR career started in Financial Services and, to date, she has fulfilled various senior leadership positions in Blue Chip companies including Allan Gray, British American Tabacco and Pernod Ricard Sub Saharan Africa.

She prides herself in her ability to spearhead culture change having been instrumental in the development of the strategic human resource operating model within Allan Gray as well as the development and implementation of various people practices within Pernod Ricard South Africa.

Juliette holds a BTech Degree from CPUT and has completed a Senior Management Development Programme as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Leadership Development from Stellenbosch Business School.

Juliette succeeds Neil Proudfoot, who will retire from his position as HR Director at the end of this year.
