Private Client Manager -

 

Role Overview

The Private Client Manager will be responsible for driving the growth and development of Edward Snell & Co.’s Meta Luxury Portfolio in Southern Africa. This includes leading the strategy, execution, and performance management to ensure that our luxury brands achieve their full potential in the market with a private client feel. The role requires both customer and consumer facing engagements.

 

 

Key Result Areas

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for Edward Snell & Co’s Meta Luxury portfolio in South Africa.
  • Align Meta Luxury strategies across Principals with overall business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the luxury segments and Prestige Quality tiers.

 

Commercial Excellence

  • Drive sales performance through effective commercial planning and execution driving results from a depletions perspective whilst balancing luxury experiences and brand building opportunities.
  • National Collaboration with sales teams in the regions to ensure effective distribution and presence coupled with visibility of the Meta Luxury portfolio.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to inform commercial strategies related to our luxury portfolio.

 

Brand Management

  • Lead luxury experiences with initiatives to enhance brand equity and awareness.
  • Critical input into the Meta Luxury portfolio’s marketing campaigns, events, and activations tailored for private client consumers and customers.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels with Luxury top of mind and a private client feel.

 

Customer Relationships

  • Build strong relationships with key customers, private clients, and partners.
  • Develop tailored programs to engage high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and influencers.
  • Leverage customer feedback to refine strategies and improve brand luxury experiences.

 

Financial Management

  • Manage the Meta Luxury budget effectively to maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Track financial performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Revenue Growth Management experience.
  • Channel P&L ownership and accountability

 

 

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in senior commercial or marketing roles within FMCG or luxury goods sectors.
  • Revenue Growth Management experience would be advantageous.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing premium/luxury brands.
  • Strong understanding of South African market dynamics and consumer behavior
