Brand Ambassador: Remy Martin -

 

 

Role Overview

The National Brand Ambassador_Remy Martin_ would be required to support major brand initiatives and help deliver targeted portfolio performance, through consumer and trade engagement and advocacy. Along with the pivotal overarching goal of building brand awareness, driving sales, and fostering brand loyalty, the role also requires real passion and exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of the consumer culture and on-premise liquor landscape of South Africa, along with a strong ability to inspire, educate and share knowledge and enthusiasm with others

 

 

Key Result Areas

Brand & Cultural Integration

  • Cultivate and manage strong relationships with cultural influencers, HNWIs, media, and industry leaders to enhance brand prestige.
  • Integrate Rémy Martin into relevant cultural moments, lifestyle events, and premium social scenes to drive organic advocacy.
  • Collaborate with PR and social teams to amplify brand visibility across digital and traditional media.
  • Design and implement influencer engagement strategies that build long-term brand affinity.
  • Serve as a credible spokesperson for media and influencer campaigns, supporting brand storytelling and earned media efforts.

 

Trade & Consumer Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with key customers in collaboration with commercial stakeholders.
  • Deliver compelling brand education and tasting experiences to consumers, customers, and staff.
  • Partner with chefs, bartenders, and hospitality leaders to strengthen brand presence in high-profile venues.
  • Support commercial goals through brand-led initiatives that drive visibility, advocacy, and premium positioning.

 

Event & Activation Leadership

  • Lead the planning and execution of immersive brand activations for trade and consumer audiences.
  • Curate luxury brand experiences, VIP tastings, and exclusive events that align with Rémy Martin’s positioning.
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to tailor activations for targeted segments and occasions.
  • Leverage strategic partnerships to amplify brand reach across influential consumer touchpoints.

 

Social & Digital Influence

  • Create and distribute engaging brand content to grow digital reach and audience connection.
  • Strengthen advocacy through influencer partnerships, content collaborations, and community engagement.
  • Align with PR and digital teams to enhance brand storytelling and increase earned media.
  • Monitor engagement trends and optimise digital content strategies for maximum impact.

 

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and cultural insights to inform brand direction.
  • Report regularly on trade engagement, consumer response, and activation performance.
  • Use data and insights to assess and refine brand initiatives for improved effectiveness

 

 

Qualifications and Minimum Requirements

  • A relevant, BDegree or 4 year Diploma is essential.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within the Liquor industry,
  • Premium Concierge experience would be advantageous
  • Well-connected and culturally attuned to South African trends, influencers, and premium audiences
  • Deep brand understanding and instinct for premium positioning
  • Solid knowledge of on-trade dynamics and experiential consumer journeys
  • Persuasive and confident in selling ideas and influencing both internal and external stakeholders
  • Digitally fluent with an authentic and engaging social media presence with a proven influencer network
